How can you make an assessment and effect a performance change without baseline information? We’re not talking about measuring a 40 with a stopwatch. We’re talking about true measurements of speed and change of direction. Measurements of stride length, stride frequency, meters per second, ground contact time, rate of acceleration, and deceleration are all critical.
How do you effect a physiological change when you only have the player for 6, 8, or 12 weeks? Others might say it’s no problem, but it is a challenge. Through S.P.E.E.D., we effect change in the shortest time possible. Our metrics remove the subjectivity from development of human performance. We can demonstrate actual results because we perform initial testing to establish baseline measures and perform additional testing throughout the training period as well as the end, so that change is measured.
